NervousWe visited London to hunt out some grafitti expressing the people's plea for Freedom here in the world's 4th richest country that heralds it's version democracy yet with a government that acts more like a dictatorship. Unfortunately we are sleepwalking deeper into this dictatorship as long as the majority of people retain their "ignorrance is bliss" attitude towards politics and fail to see though the lies and scandals obscured by the popular press. Thinking PlaceLast night I rode to the river’s edge. I cut the engine, set my bike on its centre stand, & sat on the pillion seat with my feet on the handle bars. I took out my latest poem from my pocket & started reading. I set the paper on my knee without even holding it as the air was so wonderfully still. The sky was blanketed with cloud but all was dry & not a drop came to meet the ground. Despite my obvious disappointment at not seeing the stars, I was happy to be closed into the world around me - it was quite comforting. I almost began to feel drowsy with the pleasant warmth in the air too. I was on the South side looking North & it was so quiet allThinking Place

I’m from Sunderland University doing a Photography degree. I’ve decided to do one of my projects on Twin Towns, where towns and cities throughout Europe are twinned with each other. At the mo I’ve got someone in Dunkirk, France, taking photos for me and I was hoping to get someone in Middlesbrough to do the same, because Dunkirk and Middlesbrough are twinned with each other.
