This was taken outside of the cottage I stayed in Sweden, 1998. It's only a few metres away from the lake [link]

I love the scenery in Sweden. I might try to get my work experience over there in my third year of uni. It's a very nice place to live.

you know whats really wierd? that looks like my backyard in canada and the lake looks like my grandparents. yes their backyard was a lake.

I've never been to Canada, but I've heard it's very beautful. I wanted to try my luck there for work experience too, but it's really hard to get into North America to work and live. I don't have the contacts either.

I should be revising for my exams, so that's why I'm not on MSN. But DeviantART is still keeping me away! lol

It's always been a dream of mine to go visit Canada sometime! My friend Alex lived in Med Hat, Alberta for two years; his Dad was in the British Army. Love looking at all of the photographs of Canada framed around his house.

Me too. I spent hours exploring this one and I spent the best part of one afternoon trying to get a picture of a red squirel. They're really rare in my part of the world and they're almost extinct in England.

I beg to differ :) I think every place has something different to offer and has it's own qualities. You don't notice it as much when you're living there. You don't get lakes and forests like the ones in Canada anywhere else. I think the accent is cute too. Sounds a lot friendlier than American somehow, even though it's difficult to tell the difference sometimes. I used to work with a bunch of Canadians at one point; they weren't very friendly though.

i think my opinion is influenced by the people and my bad memories. when i see the comericals for the holidays there it looks nice but the thought is always at the back of my mind. meh. lol. still its pretty.
